All recruits will be issued two (2) upon their arrival in addition to their normal clothing.

Post-retinal implant.
Every new arrival will receive an implant that serves a number of functions. It will not be felt and has no negative effects (beyond the initial possibility of headaches, nausea, swimming or blurred vision, and the strange visual or auditory glitch...all of which should go away within 48 hours). Chief functions include;
- Retinal HUD, display images, or text
- Audio communication
- Translation; audio only (cannot translate written text in a book for instance)
- Tracking physical location
- Monitoring vitals (although the current technology allows for 'dead' or 'not dead
Wrist mounted interface, standard issue
In addition to the implant, all arrivals will be given a removable, wearable wrist-mounted interface to interact with their retinal display. It's own display is simple, limited to text and can be customized with a dazzling array of two whole colors.
